We are Seth and Stebbi from the Icelandic band, Nammidagur. Nammidagur means Candy Day in Icelandic. In Iceland, there is a custom to allow children to have candy on Saturdays. However, we like to celebrate Candy Day every day of the week.

Seth and Stebbi come from two different worlds. Seth grew up in the United States, went to Yale University, worked as a director and performer in New York City and moved to Iceland.
Stebbi was born in Denmark, grew up in Norway, and then moved back to Iceland.
Seth and Stebbi met at the popular coffee shop, Cafe Rót, where they spent much time discussing spirituality, race, politics, sexuality, money, time, age, and finally music.
As an experiment, we decided to ignore cultural and generational differences and form a band called, Nammidagur.
This site is an ongoing discussion between Seth and Stebbi where we compare our very different and yet convergent lives and points of view. Please join us in the fun and the discussion.
